Add many expenses at once from a spreadsheet. Maria reads it, and you review everything before anything is saved.
Imports are in beta. We are still refining them. If something looks off, contact support and we will help.
Open Import & export (Settings, then Import & export under Business), and click Expenses. You can also get there from Finances: on the Expenses tab, open the arrow next to Add expense and choose Import from a spreadsheet.
Under The template, click Download if you want our template. Only Date and Amount are required. Delete the example rows. Your own sheet works too.
Click Continue and drop in your file as a CSV.
If your sheet has its own headers, tell Maria which column holds what.
On Match, check how names, categories and payment methods were matched, and change any that are wrong.
On Review, choose Import it or Skip it for any held rows. Held rows are not imported.
Click Import. It runs in the background, so you can close the page.
Expenses you already have, typed in or from your bank, are skipped. Running the same sheet twice is safe.
Imported expenses show in your expense lists and in P&L, under the person each row names.
If an import was a mistake, contact support. We can take back what it added, as long as nothing was edited since.
