The Vendor List helps you organize vendors into categories, add and review vendors, and edit vendors or categories in one place.
Search across both vendor categories and individual vendors
Organize vendors into custom categories
Browse every vendor in one alphabetical directory, in grid or list view
Add vendors with required fields and detailed information
Post and view reviews on each vendor profile
Edit or delete vendors and categories
Navigate to the Team section in the left-hand menu.
Click Vendor List (the first tab under the Team section).
The page has two tabs, shown at the top below the search bar:
Categories: the default view, showing your vendor categories as cards.
All Vendors: a single alphabetical directory of every vendor across all categories.
When the All Vendors tab is active, a view toggle appears so you can switch between:
Card view: vendors shown as cards, same layout as within a category.
List view: a compact table with Name, Category, Phone, Email, and Website columns (on mobile, the same details are shown stacked under each vendor's name).
Located at the top of the page.
Used to search for vendors and categories that have already been added. Search matches on vendor name, category, website, and email.
While on the Categories tab, searching shows matching categories and, below them, a separate list of individual vendors that match across all categories.
While on the All Vendors tab, searching narrows the alphabetical directory to matching vendors.
The green Add Category button is located on the right-hand side of the page.
Click Add Category to create a new vendor category.
Enter the category name.
Click Create Category to save.
The new category will immediately appear on the main Vendor List page.
Click into a vendor category.
Complete the vendor form with the required information.
Click Save once all required information has been entered.
Note: Any field marked with an asterisk (
*) must be completed to submit the vendor.
After a vendor is added, you can:
Edit vendor details at any time.
Post and view reviews at the bottom of the vendor profile.
Find any vendor quickly from the All Vendors tab without needing to know which category it belongs to.
Click the three-dot menu next to the vendor or category.
Choose one of the following options:
Edit: update the name or details.
Delete: remove the vendor or category.
When you ask My AI for a vendor in chat, it matches your request against your Vendor List category names first.
Use names your team actually says. The matcher works on tokens, so punctuation and common word forms are fine. Examples that will match: Window/Glass, Window cleaning, Windows.
If a matched category is empty but a related category has vendors, the chat answer includes vendors from the populated category without asking you to retry.
